Album cover

We split up tasks within the group so that we can progress quickly but still achieve high quality work. George is mainly working on the website, while I'm working on the album cover and Despina and Joe are working on perfecting the music video. We will switch up the roles, but we felt this would be a good idea for now.


We decided on using a CU of Lexi for the front cover. She is styled wearing a glam dress, lots of jewellery, red lipstick which is quite sensual with the pose and her hair covers half of her face, connoting secrecy and enticing the audience. Her use of direct address engages the audience; going in to a shop like HMV, they would catch her eye immediatly. Her pose is seductive, yet she isn't too sexy and quite playful.


I used my mac at home to edit the photo, as the software for adjucting contrast and colour is really simple and effective.

We airbrushed Lexi slightly, so that the cover looks flawless. We also edited out the butterfly earring as we felt this was too young and childish. The title in white really stands out and together with the rest of the album, we hope that the swallow theme will work well.
